Technicon Design Academy
In recent years digital design and modelling have become important aspects of industrial and product design, particularly in the automotive field. These industries now demand digital modelling work of increasingly high standard. For example, most automotive manufacturers now expect digital modellers to be able to create “Master” surfaces (the so-called Class-A surfaces) that are of near perfect standard as the final output of styling design.
Meeting such demands and requirements is very specialised work that requires in-depth knowledge of digital software systems as well as proven modelling strategies taking into account engineering, design and manufacturing considerations. With this in mind, the Technicon Design Academy has been founded to enable students to participate in a range of courses that have been especially created by our experienced trainers to teach applied digital modeling to the standards used in the automotive industry. Our courses use realistic work scenarios to train on and all our trainers are concurrently working on digital modeling projects.
